In Sunquest Tanning's advice section on their website about tanning beds they have some bizarre advice…
"Whilst in former centuries paleness was considered distinguished, a natural tan is a sign of athleticism, attractiveness and health today. The exterior appearance - the natural outfit - is an expression of personal lifestyle for more and more people.
An attractively tanned skin improves the personality. Irrespective of whether at work or in your free time - you are received better."
Do you think that this is true? Also, if it is accurate then remember that you can get as brown as you will ever want to with fake tans without using tanning beds reducing your sun damage potential enormously.
I am not entirely convinced that Sunquest Tanning has a priority interest in customer safety (who are mainly women) as they seem extremely tanning bed sales motivated. Another comment from their website is…
.. The question(s) that every salon owner must ask themselves is "How long will it take me to make a return on my investment and keep the wolves from the door (i.e. can I afford a Rolls Royce)?",

Sunquest Tanning Salon (not connected to Sunquest Tanning tanning bed suppliers) in the US is doing well with their sunless tanning techniques. Sunquest Tanning has become the official tan provider for the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. It seems these girls are being solely weaned off tanning beds for this safer tan. Go girls!
