Stand Up Tanning

Stand Up Tanning
Stand up tanning is relatively new to the market compared to lay down tanning beds.

Here are the key advantages to stand up tanning:

1. More hygienic - less contact with materials people have sweated on (gross) and have been subjected to high temperatures. Basically tanning beds can be paradise for germs!

2. You can get a more even tan.

3. You don't miss any bits that normally aren't covered by horizontal tanning beds as you are surrounded by the light.

4. They use stronger bulbs - a questionable benefit depending on your position on sun damage.

Disadvantages of stand up tanning

1. You cannot shield certain areas of your body such as your face as you often can with normal tanning beds.

2. Tanning enthusiasts complain of tiredness - how long are they in there for goodess sake? Perhaps longer than they should be? This is a bit worrying!

3. Apparently your legs don't get as brown as they aren't pressed up to the tanning lamps as much as they are on lay down tanning beds.

Does this not hint to you how strong these tanning lamps are? Tell us what you think about stand up tanning!
